Have you ever wondered how to get your prayers answered or how to move the good things that God has planned for you from heaven to earth? I have! Matthew 7:11 says “If you then, being evil, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your Father who is in heaven give what is good to those who ask Him.” I have been in Baptist church my whole life and up until about 3 years ago I thought I was doing what God wanted me to. I was at chruch every Sunday and Wednesday. I prayed and read my Bible. I was a good moral person. But I couldn’t understand why my husband of 20 years was not saved. He wouldn’t even go to church with me. But then I started going to a little church in a tiny town about 18 miles from home. It is a Kingdom Church. And the pastor is a Kingdom preacher. Then I discovered that I was praying wrong and that God’s Kingdom had a protocol. I thought I was saved at a young age. Then at 18 I gave my heart to Jesus for real. Once I got saved I had my “fire insurance” and I continued being a carnal christian. I was saved but know no one told me what to do beyond read my Bible and pray. But my Kingdom pastor taught me that Isaiah 55:11 says “so shall my word be that goeth forth out of my mouth: It shall not return unto me void, but it shall accomplish that which I please, and it shall prosper in the thing whereto I sent it.” This means that when we speak God’s word out loud back to Him that this gives God the ability accomplish what He had planned. Then in Matthew 18:19 “Again I say to you, that if two of you agree on earth about anything that they may ask, it shall be done for them by My Father who is in heaven.” This verse tells us that when any 2 come into agreement and it is in the Father’s will, God will give us what we ask. Until I started going to The Kingdom church I thought this meant two people but my Kingdom pastor taught me that wasn’t true. I could come into agreement with The Holy Spirit, who lives inside me, and if it was in the Father’s will, The Father would give me what I asked. There are many other truths that I have learned being at my new church. But these are some of my favorite truths that God has shown me in just a few short years. There are many more truths God has shown me and I hope to tell y’all soon. Until then I am praying for you. Thank you for taking the time to read what God has laid on my heart.
